PSI Industrial Solutions Names New Superinendent

Coshocton, OH - October 5, 2015 - Former Field Supervisor Ed Blamer has been promoted to the position of Branch Superintendent with PSI Industrial Solutions in Coshocton.  "When we looked at the pool of candidates and weighed an outside hire versus an inside hire, what really resonated with us was the vast industrial cleaning experience and superior trouble-shooting abilities which Ed has.  He has spent the last 27 years in industrial, power generating, and municipal facilities. That's a significant learning curve that is behind him instead of in front of him, company President Tong Unger Said."

"Ed has earned this opportunity with his great work ethic, depth of problem-solving abilities, and experience as a Field Supervisor.  Our field personnel and varied customer base have benefited from his efforts, and we believe he'll make even more of a difference in his new role as Superintendent," Unger said.

Ed began his industrial cleaning career in 1988, starting as a Field Technician, and worked his way up the ranks.  He specializes in all major high-pressure waterblasting projects on air heaters, boilers, tanks, evaporators, and heat exchangers.

Ed's role as Superintendent is the senior operations person in the field, and is responsible for overseeing all work performed on job-sites.  Possessing a vast knowledge of all different types of industrial cleaning challenges, he will supervise and inspect jobs in progress, and will be the primary field representative with the customer.  Ed will act as an assistant to the Operations Manager, and is the primary source of feedback regarding work performed at customer job-sites.
